5 out of 5 starsI'm a 70-year-old disabled woman. The first time that I use this company was during Hurricane Harvey. I had a lot of water damage to my home. They came in and took over and all I had to do was sit and watch. They dealt with the insurance company which was a blessing alone. They pulled out all the carpet and all of the sheetrock that was wet. They treated everything that needed to be treated for mold and mildew. After they dried everything out they put in new sheetrock and painted. I was amazed on how quick they got everything done. Then we had a freeze. A pipe burst in the Attic. I didn't realize it until I saw black mold in my kitchen cabinet. They had to remove everything in my kitchen and put in new cabinets, stain the cabinets repair the floor, had to make new countertops. He also found that water had leaked into the main bathroom. So not only the kitchen but the bathroom had to be remodeled as well. Now I have a new kitchen and a new bathroom. This company is awesome. Like I said they did everything and all I did was sit and watch. Everyday before they left they made sure everything was cleaned up. I would like to thank the whole crew for being so respectful, such a joy to be around, and for being professional but down to earth. I really can't say enough about this company except I recommend them completely and you can bet I won't lose their number for my next job. Thank you Rhonda Holloway P.S. 5 out of 5 starsShelby and his team came and repaired my wooden fence. They were the cheapest quote I found and their work quality was awesome. They are honest as well. I paid them with cash and I added $30 more as a tip. I did not count it out in front of them but just handed it folded. When he got to his car he counted it out, came back to my door and told me I had given him too much money. I told him to keep it as it was a tip. I have never encounter anyone like that before. These guys are awesome and I will for sure use them again for my projects. See more See less

5 out of 5 starsShelby didn't end up completing the remodel we initially hired him for, but I feel compelled to leave this review because of the incredible integrity and professionalism he showed throughout our interaction. Shelby began work on a bathroom remodel for a house I had just purchased. Shortly after starting, he noticed a wet baseboard and immediately contacted me. He halted all work until I could be present to investigate further with him. Once I arrived, he showed me several areas with elevated moisture levels using a moisture meter he brought. He walked me through the home and explained that, in his professional opinion, the house had previously flooded. Moisture readings confirmed that every wall had trapped moisture. We also realized that a "decorative" trim running through the home was actually aligned with a flood line—something I would never have recognized without his insight. Shelby explained that he had experience dealing with flood-damaged homes and pointed out that FEMA standards require cutting drywall two feet above the flood line when making repairs. In this home, the repairs had been done improperly—cut exactly at the flood line, not above it. He expressed concern about possible mold and strongly encouraged me to get a second opinion from a mold and moisture inspection company. Not only did he make that recommendation, but he also made time to meet me and the inspector at the property to share his findings in person. The inspector confirmed Shelby’s suspicions—the house had extensive hidden damage. Shelby even created his own detailed inspection report to assist me with potential litigation AND brought in industrial dehumidifiers at no extra charge, just to help mitigate the issue. Despite having already received a deposit, Shelby was extremely understanding when I decided not to move forward with the remodel due to the cost of gutting the entire home ($30,000–$40,000). He voluntarily refunded 50% of my deposit without hesitation. Shelby didn’t have to do any of this. He could have simply gone on with the project, taken my money, and left my family exposed to potential mold. Instead, he did the right thing at every step—showing honesty, empathy, and professionalism that are rare in this industry. I can’t speak to Shelby’s construction work, but I can speak to his character—and I recommend him wholeheartedly. Shelby is a genuinely good person and a contractor you can trust. See more See less

They came out within 2 hours on a Sunday morning and got started right away. Constant updates and education was provided through the 3 day job. 5 out of 5 starsAntoinette1M I am Antoinette1 M, have been dealing with a very difficult situation the past few months, a tree had fallen during the hurricane on my home, intensive damages including broken water pipe noted. Let me be explicit, the room with the broken pipe has lumber with nails, wires, falling ceiling fan , debris all over, technically a high risk hazard. In order to restore water, needed to clear the path from the attic and also in bedroom. Some would have given up, Not Shelby. This young man is caring, have a challenging spirit and efficient .In other words"He knows his shit" He is a Superman in his field. He took the challenge, mind you there is no Ac in the house, the heat and the humidity are umbearable . I did not argue the price, was just praying for his safety. Indeed, he did a awesome job, replaced the pipes after 2 runs at home Depot. I finally had water for a reasonable price on 9/30/2024. No more refilling barrel water for my need, he took a Huge stressor out of my daily life. Do not be fool by his physical appearance, His is highly professional and skilled. 🙏 again. I had an emergency situation and they didn't hesitate to do everything possible to fix the problem, even working late into the night by flashlight. We had them out to do repairs twice now and anything that needs to be done they will be the only people we call. If you need work done on your house I would ONLY recommend them. They do it all. They do it well. They are top notch. They do great work with a great attitude. We all know as home owners there’s just times when things break and have to be repaired but knowing there is people you can trust to do good work and become like a family friend while they do it gives a peace of mind that makes those situations easier. Impressed with their quality of work we followed up with our neighbors who were more then pleased with 'Restore It" timeliness, neatness & professionalism. So we gave them a shot at some rather extensive needed repairs & they came through in flying colors. The main thing aside from the quality of work was, they were there on the job on time, everyday & completed the entire job as scheduled. The owner (Shelby) told us up front that his main concern is customer satisfaction. He clearly demonstrated that when there was an issue & he promptly took care of it as he said he would the very next visit.
